• The Men’s Ministry of Calvary Church in Marinette is seeking your support in an endeavor to bless a family in our community, with a new home. Our men have a vision and goal of giving this family a free turn-key, low maintenance home. Fundraising efforts have already begun. As of July 10th, 2019, we have raised approximately $27,635 and $13,000 of committed in-kind donations, of our estimated $93,500 total construction costs.

  • The Men of Calvary have committed to volunteer their time and talents to this project. The site has been prepared and the foundation is being installed the week of May 28th. With the estimated completion of the project by the end of summer. We are seeking the support of our community, local businesses, and national suppliers to help ease the daily burden of life on this family. The home will be located in the Wallace, MI area near the DeYoung Zoo on Hwy 577, on a site now owned by the family.

  • The family has been chosen for this project, based upon the blessing they are to our community and our church. Even with their life struggles, they never have had the “Poor Me” attitude and have always had a positive lookout on life. Michael is legally disabled from an accident that occurred 20+ years ago and is currently unable to work due to multiple health complications from failed surgeries. Unfortunately, Michael spends the majority of his days in bed unable to assist in daily household chores. Therefore, Deana is in charge of the daily family responsibilities with home ownership, the childcare of their two children (one who is autistic) and assisting in Michael’s care.

  • This Men’s Ministry project is a way for the men and women of Calvary Church, along with individuals within the community, to join in a project to be a blessing to a family that could use a spark in their life.
